Forestry Mutual Supports “Log a Load for Kids” Through the NCFA

On Thursday, October 23, Forestry Mutual Insurance Company proudly joined the North Carolina Forestry Association (NCFA) in support of their annual clay shooting event, benefitting Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) and other Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals through the Log a Load for Kids program.

The Log a Load for Kids Foundation works to improve children’s health by providing funding that supports medical treatment, education, and research through CMN Hospitals and local children’s hospitals. The program brings together members of the forestry and logging community to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families who rely on these vital healthcare services.

Forestry Mutual Insurance Company proudly contributed a $2,500 donation to the North Carolina Forestry Association (NCFA) in support of this year’s Log a Load for Kids initiative. Forestry Mutual has supported the NCFA’s Log a Load efforts since their inception and remains dedicated to helping advance this meaningful cause for children and families in need.

Funds raised through Log a Load for Kids directly support:

  • 60% improving life-saving equipment for all service lines.

  • 30% advancing innovative programs and products.

  • 5% supporting education for patients, families, and the community.

  • 5% contributing to patient services that promote overall well-being.

At Forestry Mutual, giving back to our community is an extension of our mission to protect people, strengthen our industry, and invest in the places we call home.
