In addition to the industry specific programs listed below Forestry Mutual Loss Control staff provides the following training programs to policy holders:

 

Written Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Policy

A Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan is available to our accounts in order for them to be in compliance with the OSHA standard on Bloodborne Pathogens 29 CFR Part 1910.1030. The loss control staff will review the program with the client and assist in developing a written program.

Written Hazard Communication Program

A hazard communication program is available to clients in order to comply with the OSHA standard on Hazard Communication 29 CRF 1910.1200 and 1926.59. The loss control staff will review the program with the client and assist in developing a written program.

Personal Protective Program

A written Personal Protective Equipment Program is available to our accounts to comply with the OSHA standard on Personal Protective Equipment 29 CFR 1910.132. The loss control staff will review the program with the account and assist in developing a written program.

Powered Industrial Truck

A written Powered Industrial Truck program is available to accounts in order for them to be in compliance with OSHA standard on the training requirements of 29 CFR part 1910.178(I) and 1926.602(E). The loss control staff will review the program with the account and assist in developing a written program.

 

  


Lockout/Tagout Procedures

A lockout/tagout procedures written program is available to our accounts in order for them to comply with OSHA standard on Lockout/Tagout 29 CFR Part 1910.1147. The loss control staff will review the program with the client and assist in developing a written program

Emergency Action Plan

A written Emergency Action Plan is available to all clients in order for them to be in compliance with the OSHA standard on Emergency Action Plan 29 CFR 1910.38.

Back & Lifting Program

A lifting and back training presentation is available to our accounts. The program emphasizes  proper lifting procedures.

Written Fall Protection Plan

A written fall protection plan is available to our accounts in order to comply with the OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M. The loss control staff will review the program with the client and assist in developing a written program.

Confined Spaced

A written Confined Spaces program is available to accounts in order for them to be in compliance with OSHA standard on confined spaces 29 CFR Part 1910.146 and 1926.21. The loss control staff will review the program with the account and assist in developing a written program.  

Other Safety Program Topics

The loss control staff will help tailor a safety program based on the needs of our policy holders.
In-house developed instructional videos and powerpoint presentations are often used in our training sessions  All materials are presented in a positive, relaxed manner with the format created to encourage open discussion by attendees.
