Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential in the logging woods and deck and a part of your company's safety regulations.  The equipment listed below should be worn while performing your job:

A. Hard Hats.  All persons entering the logging site are required to wear a hard hat for overhead protection.

B. Eye Protection.  All chainsaw operators will be required to wear eye protection.  Employees trimming trucks shall also wear safety glasses.

C. Hearing Protection. Any employee exposed to excessive noise levels shall wear hearing protection.

D. Safety Footwear. All employees must wear safety toed shoes or boots. Boots help provide support for your ankles in addition to protecting your feet.

E. Chaps.  If you operate a chainsaw....you need to be wearing chaps or saw pants.
